Sorry----but HEY!

I am soooo sorry----it has been forever since I posted something on here----but I have been working on my scraps----I am such in a card frenzy now!

I had to take a break from making my cards because a friend asked me to make party favors----so I spent my lovely time do that! It was sooo much fun and I am now hooked on watching You Tube videos on making boxes and other crafts----I was already hooked on cardmaking!

And that is exactly what I have been doing when I have had the time to craft! Granted, its been a whole summer and I dont have many to show due to being a mommy, but I will show you what I do have completed----some of my creations I truly love and others will be KEEPERS---but I guaranteed that all my projects will be displayed for you to see and I hope you are inspired by some of them!

I will post each individually and tell you about them briefly if time allows!

Thanks for reading.......By the way---how's your summer been going?

Oh my gosh! the lighting just does not do my cards any justice! I did not notice until I started posting, but now I feel like I wanna start all over again with taking my pics. :-( This is another card that turned out pretty well! I love the use of unusual colors that blend so well together. And the message is just perfect from someone who needs a lift. If you notice, I leave many of my cards blank with no sentiment or a very generic sentiment. I just really enjoy making them and perfecting my ability to create them. When the right occasion comes along, I can pull a handmade card from my stash and present it to the recipient! The gesture feels so awesome. Love Love card making!!!

I apologize for the horrible lighting on my pics----I hope to get better at them soon! I really enjoyed making this card as well. It looks great! I made it at a crop from a sketch I had taken with me! Awesome turnout!

Excuse my display---I had to quickly improvise! LOL!!! This is just a basic card I made---no sentiments, but I was just trying out the Make the Cut which I am fairly new at and the couple of punches----

oh wow! I absolutely love this card. This one was made at the spur of the moment at a crop I attended. I made it from a sketch I had taken along with me---the papers and title had nothing to do with the sketch, but it turned out great! This is the perfect card for anyone who just needs to take like "one day at a time"

This was one of my first cards I used with actual stitching on a machine----again-it was my first! The paper is from 7Gypsies and a basic Kraft cardstock.

Mother's Day Card

Scrappers,

I mentioned I would add the Mother's Day card I made for my mom. This one was done on short notice, really quickly.....but I love it! Thanks for the inspiration from my scrapping magazines and Memory Works idea gallery....I love receiving inspiration from elsewhere. I could never come up with some of these ideas on my own. This card turned out GREAT and will be the featured project until I do another....

This card is made with the April Memory Works Express Kit Contents.....if you want more information about MW Express Kits...contact me!

Happy Mother's Day

Hi Scrappers!

I just wanted to sit here and take the time to wish all of you Happy Mother's Day. We are all mother's in some way, whether we have children and pets or not. We all teach, hold our loved ones hands and hearts at some point in time.

I was appreciated in the best way this Mother's Day. Finances are lacking, but my husband treated me to a hot breakfast that was awesome and my oldest baby wanted to get mommy something so terribly bad that he went in bought me some Riesen chocolates....with daddy's help of course.

One of my best girlfriends thought of me as well......a delivery from Edible Arrangements. The first I have ever gotten. I am so delighted to received these gifts from my loved ones and the thoughts that others have given me as well.....many texts, emails, and facebook messages have come through since 12 a.m. Mother's Day morning.

I gifted my mother a beautifully crafted card this Mother's Day.....that's pretty much all I could do this season, but I know my mother would greatly appreciate it.....she loves scrap booking and would feel so much joy receiving a handmade card from her daughter and closest friend. I will post a pic of the card as soon as I transfer it from my cell to my computer.....

Enjoy your day, Mommies......
